Lulu launched her namesake label in 2005. Now, celebrated designer Lulu Alhadad is a name synonymous with Singaporean Muslimah fashion and bridal. Lulu, being self-taught in this competitive field, first found inspiration in designing flamboyant dresses and gowns for her family. Her entrepreneurial spirit inspired the launch of Lulu Alhadad Designs and her debut collection of bold designed Jellabiyas marked a pioneering moment for Muslimah Wear in Singapore. Since then, her collections captured global yet earthy identity, with exuberant colours and prints, unique fabric combinations, and detailed crystal embellishments.
